Experience something different

“There aren’t many cider mills, even in Tasmania, where you’ll discover insect hotels, an Eastern Barred Bandicoot Conservation Program, and an organic orchard that contains more than 80 rare apple varieties. But then, there aren’t many cider makers like Chris and Caroline Brown.”

— Ruth Dawkins, Brand Tasmania

    • “I ended up spending hours chatting to owners and third-generation orchardists Caro and Chris about Methode Traditionelle — the ‘champagne method’ of crafting cider. It’s a style that combines the sweet tartness of apple cider with the dry, bubbly sparkling wines that the Tamar Valley is well known for.

With people as passionate about their craft as this husband and wife duo, I too became engrossed in their passion (and a history lesson).”

Nesting Box Workshop

  • Small groups (max 12) or for your next corporate experience… why not think about a nesting box experience.

Honouring the land is a big part of what we do here at Brady’s Lookout Cider. With one third of our farm set aside for conservation purposes, we’re working hard to create a habitat that helps the local animals thrive.

Join us at our farm for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to build a nesting box or insect hotel for the local animal and bird wildlife.

We welcome you to take your creation home with you or we can donate it to farms in the local area.

  • 2 hours minimum depending on experience and nesting box to be completed

  • Enquire about pricing as it depends on the size of the group and the boxes being completed
