“Wow, to be nominated as a Finalist in the ‘Belief’ Category for the Shine Awards 2021 is amazing”, says Brady’s Lookout Cider Maker Caro Brown.

Celebrating its fifth year, the Shine Awards celebrates the achievements and contributions of women across rural and regional Australia, in partnership with sponsors Harvey Norman and The Weekly Times. To be recognised as a Finalist and the only one from Tasmania is worth celebrating - with a cider of course!

The stories of all the rural women who have been nominated are inspiring. Their stories have appeared in The Weekly Times during the past year. All of the nominees have been contributing amazing things to rural Australia both on farms and off them, in rural towns across Australia, in community groups and sporting clubs, in businesses, schools and homes.

There are finalists in six categories — Belief, Courage, Dedication, Grace, Passion and Spirit. In its fifth year, we are inspired by all the rural women who have been spotlighted.
