July 2015 - James Adams from All About Cider http://www.allaboutcider.com
Bradys Lookout - Wild
Made from fruit grown in the Tamar Valley, this cider uses native yeasts present on the fruit to carry out fermentation. Produced using Methode Traditionelle, this cider replicates Champagne production. A full foaming mousse on pouring leads into a nose of strawberries and cream, farmhouse twang and soapy wash. The palate offers structure and finesse with flavours of toffee apple and confectionary.
A dryer styled cider which is elegant and masterfully made.
Bradys Lookout - Premium
Again made using Methode Tradtionelle, this cider highlights the best cuvee of the season. Toffee like aromas, with wafts of green apples and spice fill the nose. The palate is delicate, yet focused with a tight structure and balanced alcohol. Clean and crisp and with a fine bubble.
This premium cider was made for fine dining.
You will find these two reviews in the next edition of Tasmania's Table out in late 2015.
